Immanuel High Point is a church that started as a Bible study in the Fall of 2022 and quickly outgrew the houses they met at. We have been gathering for Sunday morning worship since January of 2023, starting at the YWCA in Downtown High Point (and outgrowing the space), then moving to the High Point Friends Meeting Chapel (again, outgrowing the space), and now meets Sunday mornings at High Point Friends School in the gymnasium.

Our aim is to be true to the Scriptures in the way we proclaim the Gospel and live it out, which means we are dedicated to building deep community with one another around our common bond of faith in Jesus.

We moved from “church plant” status to a “particularized” church in November of 2025. This means we now have leadership and oversight in place that are members of the church who have been nominated, examined and elected by their fellow members.
